No link? Type the artist and title — for example "Coldplay - Viva la Vida" — and pick the right result.
Find the file
- Press Ctrl + J in Chrome or Edge and click Show in folder, or
- open File Explorer → Downloads.
The file is named Artist - Title - (yt320mp3.com).mp3. File Explorer shows the cover art as the thumbnail when you choose View → Large icons.
Play it or add it to a library
- A whole playlist: click Download all as ZIP, then right-click the ZIP → Extract All.
- Media Player (Windows 11): open Media Player → Music library → Add folder and pick Downloads, or a dedicated music folder.
- iTunes for Windows: File → Add File to Library.
- VLC, foobar2000, MusicBee: drag the MP3 into the window.
Tip: make one folder such as Music\YouTube and move your MP3s there, so your player's library stays tidy.
For DJs
rekordbox, Serato DJ and Traktor all run on Windows. Follow importing YouTube MP3s into rekordbox, Serato and Traktor for analysis, cue points and USB export.
Troubleshooting
- The browser says the download is blocked — make sure the file ends in
.mp3. YT320MP3 never sends.exeor.msifiles — the only ZIP is the optional playlist download, and it contains nothing but MP3s. If a site sends you a program, do not open it. More in is YouTube to MP3 safe? - Windows asks which app should open the file — pick Media Player or VLC and tick "Always use this app".
- "YouTube is asking us to verify requests" — wait a few minutes and try again.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install a YouTube downloader on Windows?
No. Your browser downloads the MP3 directly. Desktop downloader programs often bundle adware or toolbars; a web converter avoids that entirely.
Where are downloaded MP3s saved on Windows?
In your Downloads folder (C:\Users\your name\Downloads). Press Ctrl + J in Chrome or Edge to see recent downloads and open the folder.
Which app plays the MP3 on Windows?
The built-in Media Player on Windows 11 (or Groove/Windows Media Player on Windows 10) plays it, and so do VLC, foobar2000 and iTunes. The artist, title and cover art come from the file's ID3 tags.
Can I convert several songs at once?
Yes. Paste a playlist link and the first 10 tracks are converted, each as its own MP3.
