Step by step
- Open the video on YouTube and copy the link from the address bar (⌘ C).
- Open YT320MP3 in Safari, Chrome or any other browser.
- Click the box at the top, paste the link (⌘ V) and pick the quality — 320kbps is selected by default.
- Click Convert and wait a few seconds.
- Click Download. Safari may ask whether to allow downloads from yt320mp3.com — choose Allow.
No link? Type the artist and title instead — for example "Daft Punk - Get Lucky" — and pick the right result.
Find the file
- Finder → Downloads in the sidebar, or
- the download arrow in Safari's toolbar (in Chrome: the download icon at the top right).
The file is named Artist - Title - (yt320mp3.com).mp3 and carries ID3 tags and square cover art.
Add it to the Music app
- Open Music.
- Choose File → Import and select the MP3 — or simply drag it onto the Music window.
- The song appears in your library with its name and artwork. Create a playlist if you like.
To keep the Downloads folder clean, turn on Music → Settings → Files → Copy files to Music Media folder when adding to library; you can then delete the original download.

Paste a YouTube playlist link and the first 10 tracks are converted, each with its own Download button — or click Download all as ZIP to get them in one file. Double-click the ZIP in Finder to unpack it, then drag all the MP3s into Music in one go.

Troubleshooting
- The download does not start — check that Safari is allowed to download from the site: Safari → Settings → Websites → Downloads.
- A different file type was downloaded — a real MP3 always ends in
.mp3. Never open.dmg,.pkgor.appfiles from converter sites; read is YouTube to MP3 safe? - "YouTube is asking us to verify requests" — wait a few minutes and try again.

Do I need to install software on my Mac?
No. Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge all download MP3 files by themselves. You never need a .dmg installer or a browser extension to use YT320MP3.
Where do downloaded MP3s go on a Mac?
Into the Downloads folder. Open Finder and click Downloads in the sidebar, or click the download arrow in Safari's toolbar.
How do I add the MP3 to Apple Music on my Mac?
Open the Music app and choose File → Import, or drag the MP3 onto the Music window. The song keeps its artist, title and cover art.
Will the song sync to my iPhone?
Yes, if you sync your iPhone with the Music app over a cable or Wi-Fi in Finder. Songs added from files do not appear through Apple Music streaming on other devices.
