Step by step in Safari
- Open the YouTube app, go to the video and tap Share → Copy link.
- Open YT320MP3 in Safari.
- Tap the box at the top, choose Paste and pick the quality — 320kbps is selected by default.
- Tap Convert and wait a few seconds.
- Tap Download. When Safari asks, confirm the download.
No link? Type the artist and title into the same box — for example "Adele - Hello" — and pick the right result from the list.
Find the MP3 on your iPhone
- In Safari, tap the download arrow in the address bar to see the file and open it.
- Or open the Files app → Browse → Downloads.
The file is named Artist - Title - (yt320mp3.com).mp3, and the cover art is embedded, so it is easy to spot.
To change where Safari saves downloads, go to Settings → Apps → Safari → Downloads (on older iOS versions: Settings → Safari → Downloads) and choose iCloud Drive or On My iPhone.
Play, keep and share the file
- Play: tap the MP3 in the Files app; it plays with the built-in player.
- Keep offline: files stored "On My iPhone" work without internet. Files in iCloud Drive can be downloaded for offline use with a long press → Download Now.
- Share: long press the file → Share to send it with AirDrop, Messages or any app that accepts audio.
- Apple Music: the Music app on iPhone cannot import files directly. Add the MP3 to your library on a Mac (Music app) or PC (iTunes / Apple Devices) and sync it to the phone.
Playlists on iPhone
Paste a YouTube playlist link and the first 10 tracks are converted, each with its own Download button. Safari downloads them one by one into the same Downloads folder.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing happens when I tap Download — make sure you are in Safari, not inside the YouTube or Instagram in-app browser. Tap the compass or "Open in Safari" icon first.
- "YouTube is asking us to verify requests" — wait a few minutes and try again.
- The download is stuck — check your connection; very long videos (up to 60 minutes) take longer to prepare.

Do I need an app to download YouTube MP3s on iPhone?
No. Safari can download files by itself. Open YT320MP3 in Safari, convert the song and the MP3 is saved to the Files app.
Where do downloaded MP3s go on iPhone?
Into the Files app, in the Downloads folder (On My iPhone or iCloud Drive, depending on your Safari settings). Tap the download arrow in Safari's address bar to see recent downloads.
Can I add the MP3 to the Apple Music app?
Not directly on the phone. Apple Music on iPhone only imports songs synced from a computer. You can play the MP3 in the Files app, or add it to your library from a Mac or PC and sync it.
